ABOUT CHS BASEBALL
Coppell continues to be widely recognized as a first-class baseball program and your support allows the coaches to provide your boys with outstanding equipment, facilities and training tools. We are not just grateful for this year’s club, but many future classes will get to enjoy the results of your efforts.
This past year, the Booster Club provided funding for field improvements, safety screens and our out of town tournament expenses. And this list is on top of the yearly purchases of baseballs, bases, supplies and other routine maintenance of facilities and equipment.
It goes without saying that keeping our program on top is the goal each year for the Booster Club. Our two major fundraisers continue to be successful. The ‘Fall Tailgate Dinner’ and ‘Spring Flower Sales’ are successful due to the many volunteers who give their time.
And a special ‘thank you’ to our corporate sponsors. The local business sponsorships continue to grow each year and we greatly appreciate their connection to the baseball program. We look forward to supporting them with our continued patronage so we can create a win-win situation for everyone.
And finally, I’d like to recognize the anonymous donors whose contributions continue to help ease some of the burden on the fundraising efforts of the Booster Club. ‘Thank You’!
The Cowboys begin a new era with Coach Ryan Howard beginning his first year as our Head Coach. Coach Howard, returning assistant Coach Rushing and his staff will look to build on the decades of traditional success. The 2020 Cowboys will feature an exciting blend of outstanding upperclassmen as well as a number of Freshmen and Sophomores who will make significant contributions to the Varsity and JV squads
